The KiT Careers Tech Ambassadors and KiT Careers Volunteers programs both support the mission of introducing students to tech careers, but they cater to different types of participants and levels of involvement.
KiT Careers Tech Ambassadors
Tech Ambassadors are tech industry professionals who undergo a paid certification program to mentor and inspire students. Through this program, ambassadors gain the tools to share their tech expertise, personal career journeys, and guidance in a structured, impactful way. This role is ideal for tech leaders who want to give back to their community, becoming mentors and advocates for tech education while actively shaping the next generation of tech professionals.
KiT Careers Volunteers
KiT Careers Volunteers are individuals who may not be in the tech industry but are passionate about supporting students’ exposure to tech fields. Volunteers assist in various KiT Careers events, such as KiT Career Days, and help with general promotion of KiT Careers initiatives. This program is free and flexible, welcoming community members who want to contribute to the mission by facilitating events, spreading awareness, and creating an encouraging atmosphere for tech exploration without needing a tech background.
- KiT Careers Tech Ambassadors:
